It is not intended to predict the performance of any specific investment and is not a solicitation or recommendation of any investment strategy. Welcome to Reyna Retirement. Reyna Reyes has dedicated her career to helping people make sense, smarter financial decisions. Raina Retirement is all about breaking down complex financial concepts into language you can actually understand. Now here's the co founder of American Federal Benefits Consultants, Reyna Reyes. [00:00:39] Speaker B: Many people have asked me, reyna, how in the world do you and your team not charge us to have a meeting? Well, we've never had a reason to charge. We help people with education. Our meetings are educational. Our income in our independent. Our individual meetings are also with the goal of finding out what you have going on. Is everything perfect? Is there a problem? Do you have a need to fix? And if there is a need to fix, we have to be able to recommend you to the right company program opportunity that may be able to fix the gap in your benefit program. So we've had no reason to charge if there is a problem. We were able to connect you with the right company or with the right plan. You don't even pay them half of the time. They pay us for the connection. They pay us for bringing you to them. And a lot of people say, oh, that makes perfect sense. It's a wonderful symbiotic relationship. Yes, it is. If you need something great, we can help you with it. If you need nothing, you probably know 20 people that do. And you're going to tell everybody how great we are because we helped you make these great plans. I can tell you I get a higher emotional intrinsic value out of increasing someone's pension by $9,000 like I did the other guy the other day that told me his best friend was Travis. When I told him, who's your best friend for getting you extra money? He's like, travis? I was like, no, not Travis, me. So I get a big boost out of doing something like that because it's just there and it could have been done. But obviously, if there's a problem, let's say that extra income is still going to make that person have a lower income in retirement than he currently does. Well, there may be plans that we need to give a lifetime income and make sure that while you have lifetime income, the family still will get the death benefit if you pass away and you can still touch your money. What if that's not the Problem. What if income is not the problem? We may need to look at different type of IRAs that are designed for accumulation, for growth. I prefer safe plans. I don't do loss. I don't do fingers crossed. I don't do, boy, I hope we don't lose money next year. I do safe stuff where we don't have any concerns, no risk. But again, even all these plans that have zero risk, they are not all created equal. There's different companies, different plans. Some have fees, some don't. So there's all different kinds of things to consider, and that is how we have no reason to charge, because the companies pay us if we connect you with the right plan. But you don't care what they're paying us. We're level eyes. It's a levelized commission structure. But you, You're. You're super happy because you're saying, rain, are you telling me that I was going to be $1,000 a month short, and now the way you structured me, I'm not going to be $1,000 a month short for the rest of my life, and I still have buckets of money I can grab from to take a vacation or reroof my house or buy a car in retirement? Yes, that's what I'm telling you. Eureka. And you go about your merry day and you tell everyone how amazing Raina was, because you now have this calmness of spirit to know that money's good, rent's paid or mortgage is paid, groceries are on the table for the rest of your life. You can retire and not notice it because the monthly income will remain the same. That tends to be some of the highest priorities. And in our meetings, that's one of the first things we will go over to be sure. What is your monthly income doing? Is it enough? Is it not? If it's not, let's put a fix on that. So that's that we don't have a reason to charge, because there may be something that we can help you with. But again, if there's not, I can tell you some of the people that have had no need for any service that we offer, they end up telling everyone about us, and they bring me more people that need me. And that's part of the structure. Many of the people that you talk to who say that they're specialists in retirement there, that structure is going to be very similar. It just depends, right? We have to. Obviously, we have a lot of eyes on us, and there's a lot of oversight. So we have to pick companies that are strong, good history, things like that. So before I bore you to tears on what we do and what we don't do, reach out, get scheduled. It's always worth it to at least see what's going on with you today while you're working and how that's going to change in retirement. And we want a timeline. We want to know what it's going to be before Social Security, what it's going to be after Social Security, and do you need extra income and if so, for how long, and whether or not that's something for your spouse as well. Reach out my number here, 850-450-6500 and you can get scheduled and we'll go over all of your options and it's never too soon to start planning. We'll talk to you soon.
