Welcome to Reyna Retirement. Reyna Reyes has dedicated her career to helping people make sense, smarter financial decisions. Reina retirement is all about breaking down complex financial concepts into language you can actually understand.
Now here's the co founder of American Federal Benefits Consultants, Reyna Reyes.
[00:00:40] Speaker B: Now, we're all saving our pennies for that rainy day in the future when we're going to maybe need to grab some cash. And many of y' all have maybe taken action already on some type of financial product. How many types of financial plans out there are there?
Stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, fixed index annuities, variable annuities, life insurance products. Life insurance where you can take cash value out. Term insurance where you cannot take cash value. There's a zillion trillion different types of plans out there and many people have taken action on one. Or more commonly, people say to me, raina, what do you do? Can you look at my plan and tell me if it's a Superman plan or if it's for the birds?
Absolutely, I can.
So bring me your tired, your poor, your old plans. Let's see what you have, what it's doing and what it can do for you in the future.
So it would be very good to take inventory. That's part of planning for retirement. Hey, the future is upon us and it is coming around the bend a lot faster than we think. Even though we know life is short, you know, time is fleeting, we are a vapor and we want to be make a plan for the future. But you've already been planning. That's the thing many people say to me, oh, you know, I've got this plan that I got 10 years ago, I got this plan five years ago.
Let's look at it, reach out, and we can kind of go over some of these plans because what happens, rules change, interest rates change, opportunities change, some companies change, they get acquired. Some people say, oh, they go to business maybe, but a lot of times they got bought by the bigger fish. Let's look and see what you have that's part of planning at all. We have to be able to go over independent plans because do we offer them as well? Absolutely, only to someone who needs that hitch fixed. Some people have a hitch in the giddy up and we need to put some oil on there or fix a portion of it.
Because sometimes we have a shortage of income in retirement or or a shortage of safety or a shortage of disability coverage while you're working. There's a zillion ways you can be helped and it's very possible you already took some type of action. I would say compile your stuff, get scheduled, get scheduled with me and the team so we can go over what you have already, what it was designed to do and how we can help you maximize it, and whether it's perfect or if there's something that we can do to help you out. Reach out my number here, 850-450-6500 and it's probably there on your screen. And also we have an entire team around the nation that can help you fix what you got or confirm that it was a perfect choice to begin with. So we'll talk to you soon and happy retirement.
